Our church is warm and loving, and we want you to feel comfortable with our church.  Browse through the various areas of our website and learn about our fellowship.

Our Mission​

​Linthicum Baptist church exists to worship God, proclaim Christ, teach His Word, live His love and actively minister to others by giving our time, our talents and our resources.  The basis for this our mission statement is the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).

Our Vision​

At Linthicum Baptist Church, our vision is...to be an inclusive fellowship that aggressively seeks to reach those who do not know Jesus Christ, to consistently disciple those who do, to compassionately care for those who are hurting and to position this congregation to be a predominant evangelical voice in our area.

Our Church began as a mission, meeting in the Women's Club Building on Hammonds Ferry Road. Our first meeting was February 2,1957. March 27th of that year we purchased our present property. First Pastor was called on May 1, 1957. We erected our first building in 1962 which was completed on December 31,1962. First service in our building were held on 3rd of February, 1963. It was that year that we constituted as. a church and became an official member of Southern Baptist Church.

Linthicum Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church that has Worship Services every Sunday that begins at 11 AM.  We are located right by the airport and only about 5 minutes from the hotels on Nursery road.  We would love to have your visit us if you are in are our area for any reason.

When you visit our church, you will find:
Friendly, caring people
Gospel-centered preaching/teaching
Opportunities to serve Christ with others
You will also find a church that is open for you to come as you are.  You will be accepted and welcomed by friendly people who love God and love People.   

If you are looking for a new church home, we have opportunities to study God's word and to serve Him in the community through active ministries already in place.  We encourage all to use their gifts and talents to do God's work in the community.
